I love the tartan design and the material used for the design. The only problem I have is that I am used to the macbook being light and aerodynamic. This body makes it very bulky because the plastic shell is thick and really makes it look like a PC (which I hate). I was hoping it was thinner and more rubbery but it has a plastic sheen which makes the macbook look quite bad. I used it for a month but am not using it currently due to this reason. If you are looking for that look, by all means, buy it. The design alone is worth the money. The half that sits under the base of the computer doesn't fit quite as well- one of the plastic tabs on one corner sort of hangs off a bit, and I fear that may be the first to pop off, but hopefully in a few years. If this were going to be a desktop laptop, I would consider not using a cover (for cooling issues) but since I will probably never use this computer without the cover on, it isn't important for me.
